Taste of Morningside With all those events in October, you might thing the neighborhood would take the next month off. If so, you'd be wrong. November ushers in the signature event of the neighborhood, the annual Taste of Morningside. This poplar event draws residents out to celebrate the diversity of cuisine from across intown Atlanta. Taste of Morningside spotlights food from neighborhood restaurants and and artist market of local artists. That completes our overview of some of the major events in Morningside. However, since Morningside is so large, many smaller sections of the neighborhood, even some individual streets host their own events throughout the year. One such example is pelHAMfest, where each November residents shut down Pelham Road to roast a pig and socialize. Morningside Farmer's Market Another popular gathering place is the Morningside Farmer's Market which is open each Saturday morning. While the market is open all year, there are chef demonstrations during the spring and summer months only. The market features organic produce from local Georgia farmers.
